Well, not today. Today I think I have the easier job, because nothing can be harder than trying to cut the hair of a very active toddler! Puppy was starting to look a little wild, which really suits his behaviour sometimes but I like to think I can have civilized children, so I decided to trim his mane.
Trimming human hair is nothing like trimming dog hair. Usually when you start cutting dog hair you have already blow dried the hair to stand out straight, and you almost sculpt it. I don't think civilized is the look I would get if I tried this on my children.
So with human hair you trim it wet. Well, that's a little bit like taking a picture without a viewer and hoping for the best, as far as I'm concerned.
I finished with, "Okay Puppy, lets blow dry now and see what you look like!"
Over all not too bad... considering he didn't stop moving, turning, grabbing, looking etc. I guess my dog grooming skills really do come in handy. I still have all my fingers, and he still has his ears :D
